Yesterday I went to Tates Comics one of my favorite stores ever and i saw some new Teddy Troops toys. The basic model of teddy troops are always awesome but i was like man i dont even know what this series looks like so i didnt get them. Theen last night and today i was like man i want those toys. I decided to go and i was only gonna buy one but then i was like no i need to get 2. So I did. I open them and I got 2 of the same exact TOY!
I was a little bummed but not really cause they are so awesome doubles are ok with this set cause it just makes your army bigger, So then i went in and bought a 3rd one. Made my brother pick it out cause he has lucky fingers. I open it and I got the FRANK KOZIK one!
so theres 11 toys in total i believe so i still need 9 more cause they are awesome.
anyways i was playing around with my toys a little bit and decided to make a short little stop motion video.
its not the best thing and its super cheesy but it was fun to make. ok well that its for now hopeing to start workin on the 11 second club soon for this month if i do then ill post my work in progress as it actually progresses. Thats it for now Enjoy!
Hey so its been a long time since i updated but im back and i got a new video for anyone that actually checks out my page. I just finished class 1 of Animation Mentor which was awesome. Luckily i got a mentor that was really involved and awesome. Unfortunatly class 2 is being put on hold until maybe the spring term due to financial issues but i will still be working on projects and getting more and more practice and hopefully an awesome demo reel eventually. I will still update this thing with new projects and such but for now here is my Progress Reel from Class 1 of Animation Mentor. Enjoy or dont but at least give it a watch. Thanks
Im currently in week 4 at Animation Mentor and were bouncing some more balls this week is a light ball and a heavy ball. Trying to come up with something interesting to do i went on youtube searching balls and stuff and came across the awesomeness of the video posted below.
Here in South Florida early voting started for us yesterday. So I decided to go ahead and make a semi political post. I personally don't really like anybody running except for Joe Biden aka " The Guardian "
I call him the guardian because to me he looks like the Oan Guardians from Green Lantern comics just with a smile.
Now too keep with the whole political theme this post is supposed to have I related my Animation Mentor assignment to it as well.
Week 3 just ended a few days ago and we had to do a pose showing excitement. I went ahead and did a guitar pose which my teacher seemed to like.
This is the pose i originally turned in.
Marlon liked everything cept for the legs. He couldn't tell quite where the characters weight was and thought that i could exaggerate the pose even more. Im all about exaggeration so i didnt hesitate one moment and did some thing like this
I went ahead and "Keith Richardesqued" it up for him
Now when it came to the color scheme of the picture i decided to do red white and blue just so i could sing rock the vote go rock the vote baby!
Now another political themed topic is this past Saturday Tates Comics (only one of the best comic book stores to exist EVER!) had their opening night of their " Viva la Propaganda" gallery.

I entered a piece as well as about 74 other artists I believe. My piece is called "2008 year of the speak see and hear no evil"
The show runs until November 22nd so if any one reads this and lives in South Florida you should definitely check it out theres some pretty awesome artwork there.

Hey Everyone my name is David and i like amination! ( yes i know i wrote amination it just sounds funnier)
I just got a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design a few months ago and now i am back home. Also I just started Animation Mentor ( an awesome online animation school) a few weeks ago. Im on my my way to becoming an Animation NINJA!!!
I decided to make this blog just to post interesting things i come across and to post new projects im working on for Animation Mentor.
Well Animation Mentor is awesome so far. Im in class 1 right now and week 4 has just started. I have an awesome mentor. His name is Marlon Nowe.

He used to work for Blur Studios for about 6 or 7 years.
Then he made his way over to rhytm and hues to work on the golden compas.
Now Hes over at Disney and he just finished working on Bolt which looks awesome. If you havent seen these videos then you gotta watch them they are so cooooool.

Now week 1 of AM was just cruising the campus meeting people figuring out how to use the site. Also they had a scavenger hunt whom they still havent announced the winners for yet
Week 2 wasnt too bad we had to draw some gestures and then choose one of them and pose it out with the character they like to call STU. Now Stu has a humongous head but this is what i came up with. I was happy cause I impressed my teacher : )
then this is the finsihed pose with the few changes my mentor suggested.
Now week 3 has just ended but those images will be in a new post which i will probably make tommorrow.
